SERIES III TURBO DIESEL 3-DOOR HARD TOP!!
We just received a great Rover, it is a 1980 Series III RHD 3-Door
109''
hard top, that was transplanted with one of the best non-Rover diesel
engines, the Perkins Prima turbo. This engine is very well suited to
the
Land Rover, and fits perfectly into the engine compartment. This was a
professional install as well, and it starts and runs beautifully.
Turns
in high 20's in MPG. Rover is painted in Limestone, and it has the
tropical roof hard top, with side windows. Excellent, straight
bodywork,
and best of all, a super solid chassis and bulkhead: chassis has no
rot,
and while it does have several outriggers that were replaced, as well
as
the rear cross member, you can hit it anywhere and it rings true. 2
