It
was originally Limestone but was painted white, probably in
1980, but it still looks great. There is some damage to the
paint on the front doors where they have scraped off the logos,
but it might be nice to find out where it came from, and put
them back on. We can do a bit of research and find out exactly
where it was stationed while in service as an ambulance.
Chassis
and bulkhead look to be original and in very good shape. Panel
fit is excellent and the doors shut perfectly. Drives fantastically,
and cruises very nicely down the highway. The usual Station
Wagon goodies: tropical roof, side steps. Here is the sweetener:
It is now painted in a very utilitarian white, but the original
color was the classic Limestone- Included in the price of
$13,500 is a professional paint job in ANY color you like.
(we prefer the Limestone, but we are purists!).
