1978 Series III RHD Five Door Safari Station Wagon

This is a very unique five door wagon- it was built as a standard civilian 12-Seater Station Wagon, then it was put into service as an ambulance! First registered 1980, but manufactured 1978, it is a Series 3, 4 cylinder 2.25 liter gas 5-door Safari Station Wagon. It has had 2 owners from new and has covered an amazing 47,000 miles from new. (!!!)

It was originally Limestone but was painted white, probably in 1980, but it still looks great. There is some damage to the paint on the front doors where they have scraped off the logos, but it might be nice to find out where it came from, and put them back on. We can do a bit of research and find out exactly where it was stationed while in service as an ambulance.

Chassis and bulkhead look to be original and in very good shape. Panel fit is excellent and the doors shut perfectly. Drives fantastically, and cruises very nicely down the highway. The usual Station Wagon goodies: tropical roof, side steps. Here is the sweetener: It is now painted in a very utilitarian white, but the original color was the classic Limestone- Included in the price of $13,500 is a professional paint job in ANY color you like. (we prefer the Limestone, but we are purists!).

PRICE: $13,500.00
