This is an older restoration, with a rebuilt 2.25 liter gas engine, rebuilt gearbox, and a professionally reupholstered interior, using a dark green naugahyde- even the twin rear bench seats match. The headliner was also redone at the same time.
Perfect for someone with the the time, energy and know how to make it perfect again. It is in mechanically super condition, but needs some chassis welding- around the main rails, the gearbox x-member, a bit around the front spring hangers--- the front horns, rear spring hangers and rear x-member are still solid. There are dents that also need to be seen too- the front bumper, the right front fender outer skin, right side skirts, and right rear quarter panel and corner capping.
The previous owner christened it "The Antichrist", which was the Rover from "The God's Must Be Crazy". However, as far as we know, this Rover has never winched itself up a tree.
