This is one of the rare Rovers- fitted out with a unique, patented fiberglass pop-up top, with two fold out hammocks in the roof. The custom made coil-sprung (much like your couch at home!) seats fold down into either two single beds or one double, and are clad in grey "elephant hide" vinyl. The rear of the Rover, instead of having inward facing bench seats, has a small wardrobe, and a small cooker and sink unit. A fold down table is also incorporated.
The interior is in very good shape, with new carpeting. The dash is classic IIA. This is a one owner Rover, and was barn stored for about fourteen years. The chassis was replaced shortly before, and is still in excellent condition. The body panels are completely straight, and the paint, while in need of some compounding, is in very good condition. The only change that was made was the updating of the headlamps, which were moved to the fenders. It was done professionally, and is indentical to a late IIA/III front end.
It has a 2.6 liter straight six cylinder gas engine, which runs pefectly. The top and awning are also in excellent shape. Call for full details, on this or any other Rover we have in stock.
