1988 RANGE ROVER, SILVER, GREY LEATHER

This is the first Range Rover I ever owned,and it served me well, both on and off road. 170K odd miles. Now, however, it has fallen on harder times, and while she is prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice towards keeping other Rangies on the road, she would certainly prefer to continue in service a bit longer. There isn't a body panel without a dent, and some are really big. The interior is a bit shredded, and the dash ripped up. There are a few bits missing here and there, and she is very scruffy. That out of the way, here are the good things: The engine, when running (was running the other day, won't start at the moment!) sounds great and is very peppy. The gearbox is equally good. The diffs are fine, and the chassis is very solid. The brakes are fine, and a lot of the electrics still work. So.....it would make a fine Rover for someone who only wants an offroad rig,because she would need quite a bit to pass any inspection. Clean PA title. I'm mad at her at the moment, because I singed my eyebrows off trying to start her with some ether. Come on out and take this Rangie home.
