III 109" EX-MILITARY W/Custom Seats
| This is a 1973 Series III RHD ex-military
109" , that is completely stock, with the exception of custom
forward facing Safari "stadium" style seats, that will
acommodate up to 9 people total. It was prepared for a customer
who had been on safari in Zambia, and had ridden in a custom built
Defender 110, with similar seating. She sent us a photo (the same
photo in several South African Airways print ads), and we got
to work. In the end, she wound up buying the Travel and Leisure
five door Safari Wagon, so this superb Rover is back on the market.
It has a brand new canvas top, rebuilt 2.25 liter engine, rebuilt
gearbox, solid chassis, new rear crossmember, and very straight
bodywork. Fully serviced, turn key vehicle. The interior is also
in very good condition. It had a brush guard with a custom trackers
seat, but it was removed. We can include the brush guard and seat
for $550. This Rover is also eligible to be imported into California
without any emissions requirements, and we can deliver. Don't
like the cammo paintwork? we will completely strip it down to
the bare metal, and respray it in a color of choice for an additional
$2500. |
